The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will spend 71,500 euros to replace the gala glassware of the Embassies and diplomatic representations of Spain abroad.

This is clear from an announcement published on Friday in the Official State Gazette about the formalization of the contract for the purchase of “drinking glassware” and “crystalware”, destined for representations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs outside Spain.

The announcement states that after receiving two offers, the one with the lowest price was chosen, compared to the one with the highest amount, which was close to 100,000 euros.

The acquisition aims to replace the glassware – glasses, goblets, jugs, etc. – that is used in Embassies and Consulates when official and representative events are held.
