Teatro Bellas Artes presents El Brujo in ‘Los dioses y Dios’
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The actor Rafael Álvarez El Brujo stars in the play Los dioses y Dios (The Gods and God) at the Teatro Bellas Artes in Madrid (Calle del Marqués de Casa Riera, 2) until 4 February.

The acclaimed and admired actor points out that “the real interest of the Greek myths is that the Mediterranean culture made its gods in its own image and likeness, something that had not happened in other cultures. The Greeks were more realistic and there was a relationship between human beings and the divine. The Greeks take us back to a time when the relationship with mother earth and man was evident, open and unprecedented. Mythology lets us appreciate the magic of the Greeks, the brightness of that different, more alive and lively world. A single world with a single quest for the essential. All quests, one quest. All the gods, God”.

In this luxurious work there is love, humour and an essence: theatre is life and it is also fun. In this game that goes from the gods to the divine is where you can enjoy the elegance of the master Rafael Álvarez El Brujo and his mastery of the stage, of that mythology that we have already presented as a lively and passionate world.
