On Monday 15 January, the Instituto Cultural Rumano celebrates the Day of Romanian Culture with a continuous reading of the poetry of Mihai Eminescu and other Romanian poets, which will take place at its headquarters (Plaza del Cordón, 1, bajo dcha), from 3 to 7 p.m., in person.
The event will be attended by important personalities from the world of culture and politics, as well as the general public. The reading will end with the lecture Eminescu is also in Spain, to be given by Héctor Martínez Sanz from 7 p.m. onwards.

The Day of Romanian Culture has been celebrated every 15 January since 2010, following a legislative proposal, chosen as the date of birth of the great national poet Mihai Eminescu, considered by posthumous literary critics as the most important poetic voice in Romanian literature.
