The Foro Cultural de Austria informs that on the occasion of the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust, the Foro Cultural de Austria and the Museo Sefardí de Toledo are organising a concert on the 27th of this month at 6.30 p.m. at the Museum’s premises (Calle Samuel Leví, s/n) by the Austrian pianist Sigrid Hagn and the Serbian violist Sonja Novcic.
The artists will present the moving destiny of Jewish women composers, behind which are hidden works that, with a few exceptions, remain unknown. Performing and listening to their compositions rescues these women from oblivion and recalls their musical legacy.
