Juanjo Puigcorbé and María Adamuz star in the play Roca negra, which opens on 13 January at the Teatro Pavón in Madrid (Calle de Embajadores, 9).
A play, written and directed by Ignasi Vidal, in which Nando and Olivia, father and daughter, both writers, rethink the meaning of their existence. Their indomitable instinct for freedom and their stubborn desire to protect their respective independence become double-edged weapons when they meet.
A frank and open conversation that takes place the day Olivia goes to her father’s house to announce her return to the city where she was born. A conversation that is at times harsh and bitter and at others tender and affectionate. It is there that memory bursts in, perhaps with healing force – who knows? Who knows, and the two will tell each other everything they never dared to say to each other. Tickets are already on sale at this link.
