The magic of Circo Price at Christmas, the Christmas classic, can already be felt in the city of Madrid. Until 6 January 2024, the Teatro Circo Price is once again presenting its quintessential Christmas event, a production created exclusively for this time of year.
This year, La casa del árbol, a show created and directed by Emiliano Sánchez Alessi, comes to the stage of the Price, where the whole family will learn about the New Year’s celebrations in different parts of the world through music, beautiful images and, above all, circus acts, the true protagonists of a show that celebrates the infinite value of nature and traditions.
With more than 20 artists on stage from Spain, Ethiopia, Chile, France and Argentina, among others, Circo Price en Navidad: La Casa del Árbol involves more than 40 professionals from different disciplines and features spectacular circus acts such as the Washington Trapeze, contortion, aerial belts and knife throwing. All with music by Pablo Martín Jones, Guillem Aguilar and Xavi Loz, set design and costumes by Nuria Manzano and lighting by Juanjo Beloqui.
This Christmas, the Teatro Circo Price’s runway becomes a giant tree where Sarah and José invite their imaginary friends to show them how the holiday is experienced in their countries. In the 58 performances they will offer, they will surprise you by discovering the different ways in which they say goodbye to one year and welcome another.
