With the design and production of the Swiss artist Dan Acher, the show Borealis is coming to the Central Patio of the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Condeduque until Friday 22 December. Free admission until full capacity is reached.
This Christmas, Madrid will experience the recreation of an astronomical phenomenon that belongs to the northern latitudes where Father Christmas’ house is located in our imagination. Borealis changes, with the magical light of the northern lights, the way in which the Patio Central de Condeduque is perceived and tries to make the spectator reflect on his or her relationship with nature and technology.
Borealis is an installation created by Dan Acher, who works from Switzerland with art as a tool for social change and who has presented his artivist works, as he likes to call himself, in major cities around the world. The soundtrack of the installation is provided by the French composer Guillaume Desbois.
