A group of 150 Israeli women and mothers from the Jewish community and the Ibn Gabirol School of Alcobendas gathered yesterday in front of the UNICEF offices in Madrid, coinciding with the International Children’s Day, to ask for international help to “bring back the Israeli hostages held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza, among them 35 children“, according to the Israeli Embassy in Spain.

Chanting the slogan “UNICEF, they are our children too”, the demonstrators placed toys around the images of the little ones, distributed on the floor, simulating a shattered room just like the scene the kidnapped children lived through. A mother told the story and dreams of each of the children, giving voice to each of them.

During the event, a special remembrance was made for “Kfir, the 9-month-old baby cruelly kidnapped, who has completed his 10 months in the hands of the terrorist organization”, the Israeli Embassy emphasized.
