Series on Spanish contemporary art made by women at Instituto Cervantes

This afternoon at 6.30 p.m., the Instituto Cervantes, in collaboration with the Instituto de Arte Contemporáneo and the Fundación Thyssen, presents En manos de mujeres (In Women’s Hands), a series of meetings to explore the reality of the internationalisation of contemporary Spanish art created by women. Two round tables will be held:

 

The panorama as seen by artists, with the artists Eugenio Ampudia, Ana Barriga Oliva and Concha Jerez, moderated by the visual artist and cultural manager Mareta Espinosa, at 18. 30; and The art ecosystem from the inside out, with Rosina Gómez Baeza, cultural manager; Inma Prieto, director of the Fundació Antoni Tàpies; Tomás Ruiz-Rivas, artist and cultural manager, and María José Magaña, Visual Arts technician in the Cultural Department of the Instituto Cervantes, at 7.45pm. The event will be streamed on the Instituto’s website and YouTube channel.
