Based on the 2004 film starring Jack Black that brought out the rocker side of a whole generation, this fun musical is based on the life of Dewey Finn, a frustrated aspiring rock star who decides to earn extra money by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious school. There, with his quirky and magnetic personality, he manages to turn a class of outstanding kids into a mind-blowing rock band that plays guitar and bass like true stars. As he teaches these future prodigies the true meaning of rock, Dewey falls in love with the beautiful but strict headmistress of the school, helping her to rediscover the wild child inside her.
