In the framework of Spain’s Presidency of the Council of the EU, and on the occasion of the meetings of the Ministers of Culture of the 27 Member States in Cáceres, Fundación Alternativas is organising tomorrow, Tuesday, from 9.30 a.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Provincial Council of Cáceres (Calle Pintores, 10, 3rd floor) a conference entitled Culture as an essential public good. A view from Spain, to learn about the positions of the cultural sector in our country, with a special focus on the province of Cáceres.
It will discuss culture as an essential public good, cultural rights, artificial intelligence and the presence in the world of cultural content in Spanish. In addition, it will seek to incorporate other issues that seem important and that have been left out of the official debate. It is an opportunity to launch initiatives from Spain that can have an impact on the next European cycle. To attend in person, register here.
