Continuing its Summer Season, the Instituto Francés of Madrid is screening tomorrow at 21.30 the film La habitación de las maravillas (La chambre des merveilles), by Lisa Azuelos, an adaptation of the eponymous award-winning book by Julien Sandrel starring the famous French actress Alexandra Lamy.
Thelma’s life takes a tragic turn when an accident leaves her 12-year-old son Louis in a coma. Determined to wake him up by any means necessary, she accepts the crazy challenge to complete one by one the “10 things to do before the end of the world” that he had written in his diary, to show him all the wonderful things life has to offer. This journey through her teenage son’s dreams will take her further than she had ever imagined, even rekindling her own zest for life.
