A comedy acclaimed by critics and audiences alike that will not only make you laugh, but also make you think. An idyllic journey to Finland that will end up raising different ethical and moral situations that could happen to all of us. The text starts an intense debate about traditions, family values and those unspeakable secrets.
Mónica, Ramón and their five-year-old son, Martín, have travelled to Finland to spend Christmas with Mónica’s sister, Nuria, her Finnish partner and their four-year-old daughter, Aina. Little Martin is excited, because in Finland he will be able to see the real Father Christmas. The evening between the two families looks idyllic, a little house in the middle of snowy fir trees, a fire place, sledges at the door, a peaceful family atmosphere… But everything goes wrong when Aina explains to Martin that Father Christmas does not exist. Martin is very upset, but his parents are even more upset. For Mónica and Ramón, keeping their son’s hopes alive is one of the most important things at Christmas. Based on this fact, the two couples will contrast two totally opposite ways of bringing up their children. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
