The Ministry of Defense has decorated two French Army generals and one Italian lieutenant general, according to the Official State Gazette.
Specifically, the Ministry headed by Margarita Robles has awarded the Grand Cross of Aeronautical Merit with a white badge, to the Army General of the French Army, Thierry Burkhard, current Chief of Defense Staff, and who is already in possession of the Grand Cross of Military Merit.
For his part, the Army General of the French Army, Pierre Schill, has been distinguished with the Grand Cross of Military Merit with a white badge. The award-winner is, since 2021, Chief of the General Staff of the Army and a year ago he paid a visit to our country, to meet with senior Spanish military officials.
Finally, the Ministry of Defense has awarded the Grand Cross of Aeronautical Merit with a white badge to Lieutenant General of the Air Force of the Italian Republic Luca Goretti, who is currently Head of State of the Italian Military Aeronautics.
