Tomorrow, Thursday, the long-awaited film directed by Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer, the acclaimed director’s latest film, opens in Madrid, starring Cillian Murphy alongside Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon and Florence Pugh, among others.

The film explores the depths of the psyche of the brilliant scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, responsible for the world’s most destructive invention, which represented the sum total of human ingenuity and would mark a turning point for civilisation, threatening the future of humanity with its very existence.

The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin.
