Next weekend Casa Árabe’s Secret Garden will once again light up its stage with great monologists and musical performances.

On Friday the 14th at 9.30 p.m. it will be the turn of comedians Pablo Meixe and Yunez Chaib.

With more than 8 years of experience in the world of stand-up, Pablo Meixe performs in different venues throughout Spain, as well as being recognised by artists such as Sara Escudero, Eva Soriano and Leo Harlem.

He was recently the winner of the 2nd Helios National Monologue Competition. Now he presents his show ¿Quién aguanta esto?, a comic reflection on all those aspects of everyday life that make us a little crazier every time we face them. Yunez Chaib is a stand-up comedian from Mallorca. He is a regular contributor to La Resistencia (Movistar +) and Cuerpos Especiales (Europa FM). After recording monologues on Comedy Central, Late Motiv, and up to four times on Phi Beta Lambda, this year he has published his first comedy special, Yunez Chaib live. Tickets can be purchased at this link.

Meanwhile, on Saturday 15 July at 9 p.m., there will be performances by the Palestinian-Peruvian composer Nico Saba Salem and the folk band Club del Río.

The former, Nico Saba Salem, in addition to being a composer and producer, is the vocalist and co-founder of the famous band Kanaku y El Tigre (Nico Saba, Bruno Bellarin and Marcial Rey). In his more than 20 years in the industry, his musical career has evolved from pop to modern soft rock. Now, he continues his multifaceted artistic career in Madrid. His show reviews his most representative songs from his time with Kanaku and El Tigre, such as Si te mueres mañana and Bicicleta, as well as his project Piscis, the singer. For their part, Club del Río is a group of childhood friends formed by Esteban De Bergia (vocals, guitar), Álvaro Ayuso (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Juan Serra (vocals, drums, percussion), Adriano Pezzi (guitar), Juan Feo (percussion), Jacobo De La Viña (bass) and Álvaro Baño (keyboards), who share their passion for music. In 2014 they released Monzón, their first album, composed while travelling in Interrail through Europe. They have defined their music as a mixture of Anglo-Saxon folk and Latin American rhythms. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
