Fundación Alternativas: Migration and asylum in Europe, will there be a pact?

Tomorrow Tuesday at 11 a.m., Fundación Alternativas is organising a round table debate on Migration and asylum in Europe, will there be a pact?

Diego López Garrido, Executive Vice-President of Fundación Alternativas; Nuria Díaz, Coordinator of Advocacy and Communication at CEAR, and Juan Fernando López Aguilar, MEP, will take part in the debate.

The European Union is a territory of immigration for well-known economic reasons, and a territory of asylum, as it is a region of democratic countries. However, there is still no European migration and asylum pact binding all member states. This could be one of the central issues of the upcoming Spanish presidency of the Council of the European Union, whose core values are human rights and the rule of law. The debate can be accessed via this Youtube link.
