This evening at 8:30 p.m., the event The Thousand and One Nights of the Book Fair at Casa Árabe 2023 will be presented in the gardens of this diplomatic cultural centre.

This cultural programme will be held in parallel to the literary event, once the stands have closed. The opening ceremony will be attended by Irene Lozano, Director General of Casa Árabe, together with Eva Orúe, Director of the Book Fair. Then, at 20:45, there will be a dance and percussion parade by Aiwacademy, which presents a journey through Lebanon, Egypt and Morocco through dance and percussion. Finally, tonight at 21:30, the concert by El Naán will be performed. From the moors of Cerrato Palentino, El Naán explores the ethnic roots of tradition. Their live performance brings together the most ancestral rhythms and instruments with contemporary textures, ethnic music, jazz, folk…

The rest of the programme of these events, which will take place until Saturday 10 June, can be consulted on this website.
