The Instituto Cultural Rumano will participate in the next Madrid Book Fair, which opens tomorrow Friday and will be present until 11 June in the Parque de El Retiro. The stand 3 -28C- Zona INT will offer all the novelties and classics of Romanian literature.
Numerous literary activities of presentations, debates, recitals and signing sessions will be organised within the framework of the Fair. The first of these events will take place on Sunday, 28 May, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Europa Pavilion, and will consist of a round table discussion entitled Out of the Shadows: European Poets Take the Floor. Participants will include Moni Stănilă, Filipa Leal, Mária Ferenčuhová, Marta Eloy Cichocka, Tsvetanka Elénkova and María Fuentes. The event will be moderated by María García Zambrano. This round table is organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Portugal, Vaso Roto Ediciones, Slovak Literary Centre, Oficina Europa Creativa Cultura and the Representation of the European Commission in Spain.
