‘Madama Butterfly’ to fill Teatro Lope de Vega with magic

Next Sunday at 12 noon, the Fundación Excelentia presents Madama Butterfly, an opera in three acts with music by Giacomo Puccini and libretto in Italian by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica, at the Teatro Lope de Vega in Madrid.

 

The Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia, conducted by Kynan Johns, will perform this famous opera in a staged version, together with the Excelentia Vocal Ensemble. Letitia Vitelaru will play the character of Madame Butterfly, Blanca Valido as Suzukim, Luis Gomes as Pinkerton, Daniela Vladimirova as Kate and Manuel Mas as Sharpless, among others.
