The Ministry of Defense, through the General Defense Hospital in Zaragoza, and the Ministry of Health, through the National Institute of Health Management (INGESA), have promoted intensive training for Ukrainian medical staff in the implantation of external limb prostheses.
As reported yesterday by both Ministries, the aim of this training process, which will last for two weeks, is to quickly incorporate new experts in Ukrainian rehabilitation and prosthetics centers, since there is currently a shortage of these professional specialists in this country as a result of the war.
The training, of an intensive nature, is given in small groups and began this Tuesday at the Hospital General de la Defensa in Zaragoza. Likewise, the Ministry of Defense has collaborated in the transfer to Spain of the Ukrainian medical personnel, as well as in the lodging and maintenance.
