On 17 and 18 May at 19.30, La Filarmónica Concert Society presents two concerts at the Auditorio Nacional de Música under the direction of the unique and apotheosic Teodor Currentzis with his orchestra MusicAeterna, performing Tchaikowsky’s Symphony No. 6 ‘Pathetique’ (17th) and Mahler’s Symphony No. 9 (18th).
After his impressive debut at La Filarmónica in March 2020, Teodor Currentzis’ career continues to grow at a dazzling pace, and he has become, without a doubt, the conductor who has most revolutionised the world of classical music in recent decades.
