The Fundación Carolina and Telefónica will present the book Derechos digitales en Iberoamérica: situación y perspectivas (Digital Rights in Ibero-America: Situation and Perspectives) on Tuesday 16 May at 5 p.m. at Casa América.
The volume analyses the ethical, economic and social cohesion challenges that the digital transformation is creating in the Ibero-American region. Its content addresses issues such as the protection of privacy, the ethical use of artificial intelligence, freedom of expression and digital divides.
The book is the result of research carried out as part of the study programme Digitalización inclusiva y sostenible en América Latina, promoted by Telefónica and the Fundación Carolina. Celia Fernández-Aller, Professor of Ethics and Law at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, is the coordinator of the book.
