The Fundación Carlos de Amberes and BIAM (Brussels International Artists Management) present the 3rd edition of the Rubens Festival on Wednesday 10 May at 20:00.
This classical music festival is defined by the artistic quality of its performers and for promoting cultural exchange between Spain and the former 17th provinces of the Netherlands through music.
This first event of the festival will include a tribute to the Spanish opera singer Teresa Berganza (in the photo), by the mezzo-soprano Carol García, accompanied on the piano by Ramón Grau, performing works from her operatic repertoire: Mozart, Rossini… and Spanish songs.
Likewise, on Thursday 25 May at the same time, the Luxembourg pianist Jean Muller will offer the public a piano recital with works by Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt, as well as contemporary composers, such as the Belgian Marcel Cominotto and the Luxembourg pianist Ivan Boumans.
Finally, on Thursday 15 June at 8 p.m., the soprano Elena Sancho, dressed in the character of Hergé’s work, will be accompanied by Jorge Robaina on the piano and will explore the musical references of the adventures of Tintin. Tickets for all three dates can be purchased at this link.
