Albares meets with New Zealand’s Foreign Minister

The Diplomat

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, yesterday held a meeting with his New Zealand counterpart, Nanaia Mahuta, during the NATO meeting in Brussels, which four countries from the Indo-Pacific region – Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand itself – were invited to attend.

In his Twitter account, Albares described the meeting with his New Zealand colleague as “constructive”, with whom he said he discussed bilateral relations between Spain and New Zealand.

“We also discussed security in the Indo-Pacific and NATO’s collaboration with partners in the region,” he added.
