The Diplomat
Members of the Association of Foreign Diplomats (ADE), in collaboration with The Diplomat, visited last Thursday at the Palacio Real in Madrid the exhibition Sorolla a través de la luz, which is on display until 30 June.
The attendees were welcomed by Isabel Morán, director of Temporary Exhibitions at the Royal Palace, and Manuela Docampo, exhibition coordinator, who throughout the tour gave details of the works on display by the Valencian painter and answered all the questions that were asked.
In an atmosphere of friendliness and companionship, the ADE members who attended the event were able to enjoy the technical innovations of the exhibition and the life and work of the famous painter, Joaquín Sorolla, as well as the impressive finale of the exhibition, with a virtual reality sector in which the viewer is immersed in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and in the characters and landscapes that surrounded the painter during his life.
