Next Monday, May 1st, International Labour Day, the Fundación Excelentia presents two essential concerts at the Teatro Real, at 6 pm: Spanish Night: The Concert of Aranjuez and Night in the Gardens of Spain; and at 9 pm John Williams and The Best Action Movies.
The Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia, conducted by Kynan Johns will perform Spanish Night, with soloists Andrés Barrios on piano and Alejandro Hurtado on guitar, two magnificent performers and composers who, despite their youth, are already setting the pace in their respective musical disciplines. Both classically trained, both flamenco, both eclectic, both leaders of their generation.
They will perform such famous pieces as Noche en los Jardines de España, by Manuel de Falla; La Leyenda del beso, by Soutullo y Vert, and the Concierto de Aranjuez, by Joaquín Rodrigo. Tickets for this concert can be purchased at this link.
The Royal Film Concert Orchestra conducted by Fernando Furones, will perform a tribute to John Williams and the best action films. Enjoy the best soundtracks of the genius of cinema, as well as other great composers who have set music to the best action scenes, such as Superman, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, E.T., Harry Potter, Schindler’s List, Star Wars: Imperial March, Top Gun, Mission Impossible, Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings, The Avengers or The Last of the Mohicans.
