The book Revivir, la nueva Carmen de Burgos, a biography of the intellectual from Almería, written by the journalist Asunción Valdés, will be presented tomorrow Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Cátedra Mayor del Ateneo de Madrid. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
The author will be joined at the presentation by Benita Ferrero-Waldner, former European Commissioner for External Relations and Neighbourhood Policy and former Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs; Toni Cabot, Director of Publications of the Instituto Alicantino de Cultura Juan Gil-Albert de la Diputación de Alicante, publisher of the book, and Roberto Cermeño, President of the Agrupación Especial Carmen de Burgos, Colombine, of the Ateneo de Madrid. The work has been published by the Instituto Alicantino de Cultura Juan Gil-Albert (IAC), of the Diputación de Alicante.
