The new ambassador of North Macedonia, Edmond Adami, presented his Style Copies yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sources from this embassy informed to The Diplomat.
Edmond Adami replaces at the head of the diplomatic Mission Oliver Krliu, who has held the post since April 2019 and has developed an intense activity in the commercial, economic and political promotion of North Macedonia in Spain. Krliu returned to Skopje last week to join a new position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The new ambassador was successively, from November 2020 until now, advisor for Foreign Affairs to the Prime Ministers of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev and Dimitar Kovacevski. Previously he was also Minister without portfolio for the Diaspora. Edmond Adami is 47 years old, married and has two children.
Precisely in the next few days, the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, will travel to North Macedonia as part of a tour during which he will also visit Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania.
