Tomorrow, on the occasion of the Dantedì, at 5 p.m., the Instituto Cultural Italiano of Madrid will host the round table Madrid Dantesque city: present and future paths, in which the results of this rich year of Italian culture will be presented: the paths of research and future prospects, the novelties and surprises that await with each new reading of Dante.
Universities, Italian and Spanish cultural institutions and associations in Madrid have joined forces to create a joint programme of events that will transform the Spanish capital into a true “Dantesque city”, on the occasion of the celebration in 2021 of the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri.
Director Marialuisa Pappalardo will moderate a meeting between some of the most renowned scholars, professors of Italian Philology at the Complutense University of Madrid, Juan Varela-Portas de Orduña, Chiara Cappuccio, Carlotta Cattermole and Chiara Giordano, together with Valerio Rocco Lozano, director of the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid.
