Tomorrow, Wednesday at 19.30, the Instituto Francés in Madrid will be hosting a round table discussion entitled Crossed views on climate change. The event is free of charge and can be booked in advance via this link.
Time is a key factor in the fight against climate change: how can we understand the climate emergency from our collective and individual temporalities? From the evolution of climate over time, to public policies for adaptation and mitigation of climate change, to social, environmental and conservation psychology, this conference will address the complex phenomenon of climate change through a multidisciplinary approach.
Leading researchers will participate in this scientific event: Pierre Thomas, geologist and professor at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon; María Loureiro García, environmental economist and member of the Royal Galician Academy of Sciences; and Anne-Caroline Prévot, ecologist and director of research at the CNRS. The event will be moderated by FECYT science journalist Adeline Marcos Talva.
