The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, attended yesterday a working breakfast with the ambassadors of the EU Member States accredited in Spain. The meeting was organized by the Swedish Embassy in Madrid on the occasion of his country’s rotating Presidency of the Council of the EU.
“Productive dialogue with ambassadors of EU countries organized by the Swedish ambassador on the occasion of the Swedish presidency of the EU,” Albares stated through his Twitter account. “Spain will take the baton in just over three months,” he continued. “Together we build Europe,” he added.
“Thanks to Minister José Manuel Albares for sharing a Swedish coffee with the ambassadors of the EU countries this morning,” the Swedish Embassy stated via the same social network. “It has been very interesting to be able to listen to Spain’s vision and priorities on European and foreign policy issues,” it added.
