On the occasion of International Women’s Day and as part of the In Scena A Palazzo cycle, tonight at 8 p.m. the director and actress Rita Felicetti and the Le Cadavere Squisite collective – a group of comic actresses who combine music and theatre – will take to the stage of the Instituto Italiano de Cultura with their show Ci siamo rotte. A musical show with a strong rupture.
Three middle-aged actresses, Rita Felicetti (direction, percussion and lyrics), Sara Brugnolo (voice and lyrics) and Bianca Ferricelli (guitar, piano and lyrics), three musicians, three comediennes, three women who present their “ruptures” without filters in every sense. A comic show full of women who ask themselves questions that are not easy to answer. Uncomfortable, ironic, provocative and sarcastic questions to which the audience will be subjected in an alternation of songs and theatrical sketches that will draw attention to the hottest female issues, through ironic songs that break the tension.
A highly energetic show that brings back to the stage, in different forms, some of the strongest personalities in history: Giulietta Masina, Anna Magnani, Pupella Maggio, Coco Chanel, Artemisia Gentileschi, Hannah Arendt, Greta Thunberg…
