The Sea Between Lands is the title of the exhibition project with which the Italian Institute of Culture of Madrid aligns itself with the central theme of this year’s edition of the ARCOmadrid fair: the Mediterranean. To this end, it will bring together in three exhibitions the work of established Italian artists and promising young artists, with the aim both of establishing an enriching dialogue around the different cultures present in the Mediterranean territory and of reflecting on the concept of “limit” or “no limit” that this sea represents.
With this extraordinary project, the Institute becomes a museum of contemporary Italian art, located in the heart of Madrid, open to the people of Madrid and all art lovers.
