The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club have presented in Madrid the financial instruments that this institution makes available to the private and business sector in the Central American region.
The presentation, which took place in the framework of the opening of a CABEI representative office in Madrid, which will be its only office in Europe, was attended by CABEI Executive President, Dante Mossi, and the President of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, Antonio Bonet.
“It is extremely important for CABEI to promote favourable mechanisms with its partners to boost the resources generated and flowing into the economies, as well as to promote a comprehensive vision of financial and logistical solutions for the region,” said Mossi.
The CABEI president also highlighted the institution’s support for the growth of logistics operations in the region and business development in Central America, in addition to its role in financing initiatives to increase the capacity of companies to produce, innovate, grow and trade within and outside the region.
For his part, the president of the Exporters’ Club, Antonio Bonet, underlined the importance for companies of having access to multilateral project financing.
“It is, without a doubt, an important source of financing for our member companies. For this reason, the Exporters’ Club has been working to help Spanish companies in their internationalisation, bringing them closer to all the resources available to them that can provide added value in their field of action, and giving visibility to the multisectoral projects for which they can apply through prestigious institutions, such as the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI)”, he said.
