Organised by Rocaviva Eventos, this afternoon at 7 p.m., as part of the Astronauts exhibition, which is on display at the Museo de Ciencias Naturales of Madrid, there will be a striking conference on the Evolution of spacesuits, by Juan Cabrero, a physicist from the Department of Space Optics at the National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA).
Before the lecture, which will take place in the Museum’s Assembly Hall, those attending will be able to visit, behind closed doors, the Astronauts exhibition, which is proving a great success with the public and which was inaugurated by the ambassadors of the United States and Italy, and which The Diplomat has already reported on.
The speaker, Juan F. Cabrero Gómez, will talk about space suits. From the invention of the stratospheric spacesuit by the aeronautical engineer Emilio Herrera from Granada, to those currently used by NASA and ESA.
