On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Sciences Po, Sciences Po Alumni and the French Embassy are organising a lecture at the Instituto Francés in Madrid this evening at 19:00 on Franco-Spanish relations, on the eve of the Spanish presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2023. The event, which is open to the public until full capacity is reached, will also be attended by students and alumni of Sciences Po.
Arancha González Laya, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Dean of the School of International Affairs, Pascal Perrineau, President of Sciences Po Alumni, and Pablo Simón, political scientist and lecturer at the Carlos III University of Madrid, will speak at the lecture, which will be opened by the French Ambassador, Jean-Michel Casa. The president of the Spanish section of Sciences Po Alumni, Catherine Janot, will moderate the event. The conference will be in French and Spanish, thanks to a simultaneous interpretation service.
