Next Wednesday 1st February, the Embassy of Ireland is hosting a unique concert by internationally renowned Irish piper Louise Mulcahy, together with Madrid Irish dance group Irish Treble, to celebrate St. Brigid’s Day.
As of this year, this day is a new annual public holiday in Ireland, to honour the country’s only female patron saint, St. Brigid. With this concert, the Irish Embassy is organising a moment to highlight the creativity of women, and will be held at 7pm at the Centro Cultural Casa de Vacas in Madrid’s Retiro Park.
