Next Wednesday 1st February, the Embassy of Ireland is hosting a unique concert by internationally renowned Irish piper Louise Mulcahy, together with Madrid Irish dance group Irish Treble, to celebrate St. Brigid’s Day.

As of this year, this day is a new annual public holiday in Ireland, to honour the country’s only female patron saint, St. Brigid. With this concert, the Irish Embassy is organising a moment to highlight the creativity of women, and will be held at 7pm at the Centro Cultural Casa de Vacas in Madrid’s Retiro Park. Admission is free, until full capacity is reached. Please confirm attendance at events@dfa.ie.
