The Fundación Carlos de Amberes Auditorium (Calle Claudio Coello 99) will be the venue tomorrow at 5 p.m. for the presentation of the publications La transición exterior. La transición exterior. La asignatura pendiente de la democratización and La acción exterior de España y Francia en los 80. Attendance is free until full capacity is reached.
Contemporary Spanish historiography is increasingly turning to the study of the country’s international policy in order to understand its internal dynamics and also the role it has played in the world. This event presents two collective books that analyse Spain’s foreign policy in the 1970s and 1980s from two different points of view. One of them focuses on offering a general overview of Spanish international activity that began to take shape during the Spanish transition, and the other compares the foreign action of Spain and France during the same period.
