The Diplomat
On Saturday night, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, presided over the concert commemorating the 250th anniversary of the granting of the Royal Decree on the Obra Pía de los Santos Lugares.
The concert took place in the Basilica of San Francisco el Grande, a magnificent temple in Madrid which is owned by the Obra Pía de los Santos Lugares, which in turn depends on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The concert was also attended by senior officials from the Ministry and ambassadors from different countries accredited in Spain, among other personalities.
The institution contributes to the dissemination of culture between the peoples of the Mediterranean and the East.
