No minister from the Unidas Podemos will speak at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which will hold its annual session in Madrid from 18 to 21, and which will be attended by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and five members of his Cabinet.

The Atlantic Alliance Parliamentary Assembly is scheduled to meet at the Hotel Meliá Castilla for its 68th session to analyse the results of the NATO Summit held in Madrid at the end of June and to express support for Ukraine, whose President, Volodímir Zelenski, will speak telematically.

Neither will deputies or senators from Unidas Podemos take part, as none of them are among the 269 parliamentarians from the 30 member countries and a hundred representatives from the chambers of 25 partner countries. The Spanish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Atlantic Alliance is headed by the Socialist Zaida Cantera and made up of another 23 MPs and senators from PSOE, PP, Ciudadanos and Vox, as well as a senator from Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (Xavier Castellana).

At the session on the 19th, Sánchez is expected to be joined by the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg; the Presidents of the Congress of Deputies and of the Senate, Meritxel Batet and Ánder Gil, respectively; the head of the Assembly, Gerald E. Connolly; and the Ministers of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño; of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albare; of Science and Innovation, Diana Morant; of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños; and of Defence, Margarita Robles.
