A delegation from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Spanish Congress, led by its chairman, the Socialist Pau Marí-Klose, visited Moldova this week.

According to Pau Marí-Klose, in his Twitter account, during the meeting they held contacts with Moldovan think tanks on the economic, social and political circumstances that the country is going through.

The chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee stressed that one of the issues discussed during their stay in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, was “the great collective challenge of the country’s integration into the European Union”.

The MPs also visited a reception centre for refugees in Chisinau, Moldova, which is run by the non-governmental organisation Plan International Spain.
