‘Corten!’, a hilarious zombie comedy, has been released in cinemas

Directed by Michel Hazanavicius, has arrived in cinemas Corten! (Coupez!), a hilarious comedy. Alongside the well-known actors Romain Duris and Bérénice Bejo, the cast includes Grégory Gadebois, Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, Finnegan Oldfield and Luàna Bajrami, among others.

In Hazanavicius’ own words, “it’s a high-concept film. It starts catastrophically and its concept is revealed as the story progresses, ending very unexpectedly (…). It’s a film where the viewer starts out wondering what they’re watching and ends up saying that it’s not only funny, but also intelligent. Or at least I hope so!”.

The film tells the story of how a group of friends set out to make a zombie film in an abandoned building. Between technicians and listless actors, it seems that only the director is willing to invest the necessary energy to finish his low-budget horror film. But the unexpected appearance of real undead will disrupt the original shooting…
