During a day of fellowship and joy, the Embassy offered to the guests the varied and exquisite Haitian gastronomy, and they could taste dishes such as cod tapas with cassava, tostone with pork crackling (griyo), tchaka, Haitian style pumpkin soup, djondjon rice with grandules, Creole fish fillet sauce, goat sauce with nuts, Kenscof sauce and the desserts of sweet potato bread and rum punch.
The event was attended by a large number of the Haitian population living in Madrid, as well as members of the Diplomatic Corps and friends of the Haitian Embassy.
