IE’s knowledge centre, IE Insights, will present Rethinking Cities, a documentary about the future of cities and how urban planning, architecture and universities could help to face and solve complex challenges, tomorrow Wednesday at 6pm in the main auditorium of IE Tower (P.º de la Castellana, 259).
The event will feature an introduction by IE President Santiago Íñiguez, a screening of the documentary (20 minutes) and a panel discussion with Martha Thorne, Eveline van Leeuwen and Carlos Lastra. This will be followed by a reception and networking opportunities.
With more than 70% of the world’s population expected to be urban by 2050, facing increasingly complex and difficult challenges, how can universities and other institutions play a role in creating sustainable, inclusive and liveable cities?
The event, which will be held in English, is free and open to the public subject to registration via this link.
