The Sociedad de Conciertos La Filarmónica presents the guitarist Ana Vidović next Thursday 24 November at 19.30 in the Chamber Hall of the Auditorio Nacional de Música, in a concert entitled Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of the Alhambra).
Pieces such as Recuerdos de la Alhambra / Capricho árabe/ Lágrima / Danza mora, by Tárrega; Granada y Asturias, by Albéniz; the Capricho diabólico, by Castelnuovo-Tedesco; the Suite for cello no. 1, by Bach, or the Sonatas by Scarlatti, will feature in the concert.
Ana Vidović, intelligent, profound and musically gifted, has an enchanting grace. Vidović is destined to restore the instrument to the place in the world of classical music that it should never have lost. Her career as an international performer includes recitals, concerts and festival appearances in most of Europe’s cultural destinations, including Amsterdam, Brussels, Budapest, Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Paris, Rome, Salzburg, Vienna, Warsaw and Zagreb.
