This evening at 7 p.m. the travelling exhibition ARTECH (Arts, Rediscovery, Traditions, Eclectic, Contemporary, Heritage) will be presented at the gallery of the Instituto Cultural Rumano in Madrid (Plaza del Cordón No. 1, ground floor, right). The event will be attended by Adela Luiza Avram, project coordinator, and Zsuzsanna Eke.

ARTECH-Arts, Rediscovery, Traditions, Eclectic, Contemporary, Heritage is a European project realised by the Fundación Transylvania Trust (Romania) in collaboration with Fundación Gjirokastra (Albania), Comarca del Maestrazgo (Spain) and Archikidz!GO (Ukraine) with the aim of developing and promoting European heritage and cultural diversity. The travelling exhibition shows a selection of works created during the artistic residencies organised within the framework of the project, creations that reflect the link between contemporary art and European heritage.

The works included in the exhibition are the result of the reinterpretation of European history, traditions and common cultural heritage, but also have local or regional peculiarities, through the prism of young artists and creators. The artists signing the works in the exhibition are: Dora Buñuel from Spain; Valbona Fejza and Liridona Ura from Albania; Larisa Petcut, Ioana Andrei and Doru Nicolae Cristofor from Romania; and Fatbardh Kabashi from Kosovo.
