The president of the Progress Party (PP) of Equatorial Guinea, Armengol Engonga Ondo, has asked the leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, for the support of his party for a transition “from dictatorship to democracy without violence or trauma”.
Engonga and Feijóo met last Thursday at the Guadalajara City Hall, during a visit of the president of the PP to the capital of Alcarria. During the meeting, “Engonga Ondo had the opportunity to ask for the support of the Spanish party to the efforts that all the opposition is making to achieve a transition from dictatorship to democracy, without violence or traumas”, according to a press release issued by this illegalized and exiled opposition formation in Spain.
“Núñez Feijóo listened with affection and interest to what Armengol Engonga Ondo transmitted to him about the Guinean reality”, added the Equatoguinean PP, which assured that “all the polls point to him as the next president of the Spanish Government”.
