Tribute to the classic musical with ‘Cantando bajo la lluvia’, pure Broadway!

Madrid’s Teatro Nuevo Apolo (Plaza de Tirso de Molina, 1) revives the atmosphere and sensations of the best Broadway with an unbeatable adaptation (traced) of the musical and film Cantando bajo la lluvia (Singing in the rain).

The theatre director Àngel Llacer, the composer and musical director Manu Guix, and the choreographer Miryam Benedited present this musical in the style of glamorous Hollywood in the 1920s, with a script that is almost exactly the same as the film and singers and dancers who perfectly emulate Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds, the highly acclaimed actors in the film version.

Cantando bajo la lluvia is a charming romantic comedy, full of humour, with a hilarious plot, accompanied by spectacular choreography and songs that have become true hallmarks of the genre. And, of course, in Singing in the rain!, the rain is real. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
