Under the title ‘Global Peace and Bangladesh’, the painter Francisca Blázquez yesterday inaugurated an exhibition at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Spain with which, she said, “I try to convey the universal message of peace to everyone around the world“.

The exhibition is part of a series that she plans to open in other embassies under the same theme: “world peace, freedom and fraternity“.

Blázquez, accompanied by Ambassador Mohammad Sarwar Mahmood, dedicated the exhibition to “the immortal legacy of the Founding Father and Architect of the independent Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, uponwhose  clarion  call,  the  nation  rushed  to  the  battlefield to  liberate  the country  from oppression and subjugation”.

The exhibition is open to the public from yesterday, October 24, and can be visited until November 23 from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm and 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
